Alice was the assistant photographer on the shoot for our Christmas appeal. Alice demonstrated a strong understanding of our brief and the shoot's aims. She was mindful, considerate and kind - which was a necessity for us, given that the nature of our work means working alongside people in vulnerable circumstances. She showed great collaboration skills, working with the lead photographer to maximise our time on the shoot - we are really pleased with the finished photos.

Alice spent a number of months with us at Tonic Housing, the UK's first LGBTQ+ Retirement Community, in 2023/2024. She interviewed staff and residents and created a stunning portfolio of images and scripts from the interviews. Alice made everyone feel safe and confident to share their stories, and everyone was delighted with the end product. Alice also captured images at a number of events at Tonic Housing, and the images captured the activities extraordinarily well. We have been delighted to credit her work. Alice also facilitated a workshop for residents and secondary school students, teaching them the basics of photography, which resulted in an exhibition of the images at the school. Alice is a wonderful photographer with the skills and personality to make people feel safe to take part and share their stories.
